HOLY GOAT CHEESE

After 25 years of dedicated effort, during which they sold cheese to many across Victoria at VFMA Accredited Markets, we bid a heartfelt farewell to the Holy Goat Cheese team.

Anne-Marie and Carla, operating from their Sutton Grange Organic Farm, have placed land regeneration at the forefront of their endeavors for over two decades.

Simultaneously, they have crafted incredibly desirable and unique cheeses using milk produce by their organic goat herd in their special cheese-making lab on the farm.

Anne-Marie and Carla, your journey as farmers, food producers, and advocates for sustainable agriculture is commendable.

We extend our congratulations for your growth, development, and achievements.  In addition, we would like to express our gratitude for your impact on the industry through On-Farm employment, support, and education. 🧀🌿👏

Numerous members of the VFMA community will undoubtedly miss your warm and welcoming presence at markets across Victoria, along with the delightful assortment of
Holy Goat Cheese you’ve offered.

Heartfelt farewells have been extended to the Holy Goat Cheese team within the food industry. Social media buzzes with accolades from industry leaders and consumers alike, including Matt Moran and Stephanie Alexander. Notably,

Richard Cornish, who penned the inaugural story about Holy Goat Cheese in The Age, stands among those expressing their sentiments. 🧀👋🌟

“So long, and thanks for all the cheese. Over 20 years ago, I wrote the first story in The Age about Holy Goat cheese. Today, I bought my very last cheeses. Carla and Anne-Marie. Love you. Thank you. Send my love to the girls. Corndog.”

Holy Goat Cheese has steadfastly focused on crafting high-quality farmhouse cheeses. Its growth strategy is a harmonious blend of sustainability, exceptional quality, generosity, and compassion toward the farm, land, water, people, and its cherished goat herd.

Over the years, the team has garnered accolades and awards for their cheese production. Notable among these are the Delicious Produce Awards - From the Dairy Winner, as well as the title of Producer of the Year and recognition at the
Sydney Royal Dairy Show Awards. 🧀🌿🏆

JUST A FARMER - SWANPOOL CINEMA - FRIDAY 17 MAY 7 PM

"Just A Farmer" is a compelling drama that authentically portrays the impact of suicide on a rural Australian family, shedding light on critical mental health issues in farming communities.  The film celebrates the resilience of farmers' wives and community support amidst heartbreak, set against the captivating backdrop of rural Victoria.

The film is more than a narrative; it's a testament to the resilience of farming families. It addresses mental health, generational trauma, and the struggles of rural life with warmth and heart—a universal story with a powerful emotional connection.
