About
It's the Tallarook Farmers' Market. So grab your basket and get on down here on the first Sunday of the month 08:30-12:30.
Did you know the Tallarook Farmers Market is the only VFMA-accredited market in the Mitchell Shire? The market is an initiative of the TMI Committee.
The market's been punching above its weight since 2009 and has survived and thrived through the loyal support of our community and dedicated local farmers and makers.
The town of Tallarook is nestled in the foothills of the Tallarook Ranges and less than 60 minutes from Melbourne. The market is located at the rebuilt Tallarook Mechanics Institute.
It offers a variety of authentic, locally grown produce from real farmers living in the Goulburn Valley. Seasonal produce includes fruit, vegetables, eggs, bread, mushrooms, cheese, pork, beef, lamb, wine, beer, cider, olives, olive oil, pasta, garlic and honey. You'll also find ferments, cereals, jams, preserves, chocolate, fudge, pastries, cakes and much more. The market has beautiful handmade craft items from our local makers.
We look forward to seeing you back in the 'Rook!
